Man Kills his wife and kids in Mbeere

Man murders his wife and two kids in mbeere Embu County.

Police in mbeere are investigating a murder incident where a man killed his 28-year-old wife, his two children age 9 and 5 early today.

According to the reports from village chief Anthony Munyiri, David Kariuki Nyaga locked his family inside their house in Kiamukuyu before killing them one by one. 

It was too late for the family by the time of the villagers arrival. The suspect had wiped out his entire family by hitting their foreheads using a sledge hammer which he had borrowed his neighbor before. 

The weapon used was recovered and the suspect arrested as detectives try to establish a motive of the killings.

The bodies of the deceases were taken to mortuary.
